Rollin' and a bowlin'

We went bowling yesterday with the kids. Boo was so excited to go.
I loved the shoes on Little miss but I couldn't get a good picture of her.

They've updated thing so that the bumpers go up and down for the kids and adults.  So the kids did just as well as one of us. This pregnant lady started off great but by the end I could hardly walk.  I wish I knew what it is that starts to hurt but it's not a muscle or a bone maybe a tendon in my legs .  But i've had problems with them off and on the last several weeks.

Her odd way of throwing the ball:
Watching the ball. ...wishin' and a hopin'....
 Darn!

We should definitely do it again. ...not pregnant. :)

That's life

So it has been almost a week with Little Miss in a toddler bed. It's going okay. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it's rough. But that has more to do with the general struggles we are having with her right now. Two is such a hard age. Fighting for independence and not wanting to follow the rules. She very defiantly does exactly what is going to push Boo's buttons and ours . Oh so fun. Wish we could figure that one out before baby comes but probably not. Here is how I found her sleeping tonight:
I took Boo to the doctor for her school check up today. She went off with the nurse for her eye screening. The nurse came back asking if Boo ever complained about her left eye. What the heck! She couldn't make hardly anything out with her left eye. I am baffled. There had been no indication in her writing, reading or playing that had made me think that. However,  that might contribute to her lack of ability to throw and catch balls well. I just figured she wasn't coordinated enough and sports were going to be her Forte.  So I am dumbfounded. I did have a friend mention something when she was two about some pictures on the blog.  I mentioned to my doctor and she didn't seem concerned.  So I never took her to an eye doctor. Feel kinda bad I didn't listen. So off to the eye doctor we go next week. I'm totally bummed, for several reasons, at the prospect and likelihood of glasses for her.  Se la vi.

An end of an era....and 4th of July pictures

All it took was one very ohnry tired girl to change bed time as we know it.

Little miss, the ninja climber has finally learned how to climb out of her crib. She'll climb up anywhere and get into anything (I mean anything, such a dubious child) but she just couldn't get down.  You might be thinking, "perfect timing, just in time for the new baby coming". I was well prepared to let this new baby sleep in a pack n' play until Little miss finally figured out how to get out of the crib, even if it took a year. Bedtimes have worked like a charm and i didn't want to upset that. Until recently due to pregnancy related issues , I have slept through the night most nights for a year.  Ahh, what a wonderful blessing it had been. I am now terrified of this dubious 2 year old not being where I laid her down at night. What will this mean for nap times??? Oh dear.

....and here are some 4th of July pictures. We took it easy, decided to keep it fairly simple and it wad very enjoyable.
Started the day bright and early with our church breakfast and kids parade. *love it*

Then to a small town parade where they showered us with water and tons of candy.

Then we hung out with Padres for the evening with homemade ice cream and a game of croquet. If you are my family, Boo had seen "the video", and i'm pretty sure she said, "no one's going to pull your hair this time". We teased about the childhood video through out the game. Kinda fun but can't say Boo loved the game much but she got through it. she had fun watching a few of the neighbors fireworks and then we called it a night. It felt like a successful, fairly simple celebration.

The babe... 33 weeks

I think this is my first prego picture with this little one. I feel incredibly huge, however this picture makes ms look better than I think I am.  It's so ooo hard not to compare myself to all the tiny baby bumps on Facebook or at church,  even though we are all within weeks of each other. But this is how I carry them, I have BIG babies, and I love baked goods, chocolate and ice cream. So there you have it.
and this is what I have to look forward to. Little Miss 40 weeks:

Ughhh....so huge! And it seems forever away. I don't want summer to end but i'm ready not to be pregnant. 7-8 more weeks to go.......
